It was freezing cold, one of us was sick, the other tired, but we were all happy we asked at the grocery "is there a playground around here?"
Phenomenal views compliment the Douglas Firs and big leaf maples that line the abundant hiking trails all over Mt. Tabor. There is even a gargantuan staircase that seems to ascend to the top that we want to go back to visit for a good thigh busting picnic when the weather gets warmer.
